In fact most rural areas in and around Ayr. Patna and Dalmellington pupils are picked up at Ayr Hospital Bus Terminus or at Ayr Bus Station usually at a time to fit around work or college courses. Driving Instructor Our instructor is a fully qualified DSA Authorised Driving Instructor and also a Police Trained Response Driver and holds a full motorcycle licence. Overall he is a real “petrol head” with a very keen interest in motorsports and motorbikes. That said, his top priority is teaching safe driving techniques, hazard perception skills and ensuring his pupils are safe drivers for life. Theory and Highway Code tuition is part and parcel to every lesson with extra home tutorials available if you have difficulty passing your theory test. After passing the practical test why not take a lesson on basic vehicle maintenance so that you know what to do if, for example, you get a puncture in the middle of nowhere or your car won’t start!!! We offer all sorts of lesson packages to suit the individual and their pocket. Discounts are given for block bookings, intensive courses, students, unemployed and retired people taking refresher courses. Our car is a Ford Fiesta 1.4 Diesel 5 door hatch back car with dual controls and excellent all round visibility making manoeuvring easy! Nervous pupils can be accompanied during their first lesson by a parent or friend – call and ask for details.
